1. What is Microneedle?
Stratum Corneum(SC), the outermost thin layer of the skin, works as a barrier skin to prevent the entrance of foreign matter from the outside. Cosmeceuticals and drugs such as with heavy molecular weight, hydrophilic substances, and ionic substance, have significantly poor skin permeability. Microneedles make very tiny pathes in SC so that the effective ingredients of cosmeceuticals and drugs can be easily absorbed into the skin. These pathes are totally recovered in a few hours, so it is safe from infection.
